I Was Going To Ask

pi_day_pie why the fuck it is Pi day and who comes up with this shit, but then I did a little research.

Turns out it’s Pi day because it is 3.14 (March 14).

But seriously, who has the time to come up with shit like this? There is even a website called Piday.org. Who takes the time and money to keep that site going?

I mean, really?

The site says “Pi is an irrational and transcendental number meaning it will continue infinitely without repeating.”

Why do we care about a number that is irrational and transcendental?

It wounds like there is not hope for that number.

Maybe we should worry about other numbers. Like 21 or 19 (my personal favs).

And for the record, I was hoping it was actually pie day.

Don’t we all love some pie?

I’m not exactly sure where the photo comes from, but I found it at this blog: A Slice of Life. She says she’s not sure where it originated, either.

Who has the time? The nerds. Think about it. What would you do if you had no social life? :)

BTW I responded to you back on my blog... and I posted on my other blog. Your name is the first word in the other blog. :P

I'll just come back here to reply. That way I'll lure people between our two blogs.

Let's see! Your the same age as my husband! I call him old... but um you aren't! Nope... you are super young, because you are a female, and of course not married to me so I don't have to make fun of you.

And my other blog was cute? As in just being pink and really nothing else on it is cute. Well I agree! I'm afraid I might ruin the cute factor now by putting words on it.

I don't care about Pi but I want me some pie now. A nice warm apple pie with whipped cream. =)

I used to work with a guy that was a math major in college. We don't know why. But we did wish him happy pie day! There was also square root day (its really rare), which I think for him was like Christmas or something.

What the....? I'm having that dumbass pi symbol tattooed to my forehead and the phrase Happy Pi Day inked across the knuckles on my fucking camel toe.

Thanks for explaining Google's weird lettering. Had no idea it was because of the date. I haven't thought about that kind of pie since high school.
