Me: Could you please clean off the stove for me?
Husband: Sure.
Husband then proceeds to put everything that was on the stove onto the counter right next to the stove.
Me: Are you going to leave all that stuff there?
Husband: Yes.
Me: I'll clean it myself.
Husband: Why are you mad at me?
Me: Because you just moved everything over to the counter.
Husband: I didn't realize that cleaning off the stove meant I had to put everything away.
Really?

Ahh, semantics. That's as bad as the "I'm not touching you, I'm not touching you" while waving your hand in someone's face game.
